The Oligarchies running the U.S. and China are not all that different.
Both consider humans as objects that need to play a substantially state-defined role in order to maintain a stable society. Business models are based on the gig economy of no benefits and protection in the world’s two largest economies.
Nothing shows this attitude toward workers more than the delivery business in China. Thousands of unskilled laborers get paid diddly-squat to move millions of packages the final mile. When things get tight at the top, wages are withheld.
What’re ya gonna doing about it?
How about not come to work right before China’s massive Double 11 e-commerce festival? It is probably not as organized as it needs to be. But it’s a start.
Maybe working people in the U.S. can keep their eye on what other workers around the world are doing Right Now.
I will try to help with that awareness.
